Geoff’s interest in fish biology and fisheries began at age 15 and he has been fishing commercially and recreationally all over the Pacific Ocean ever since. Geoff is a founding member of the Big Island Fisherman’s Association and sits on the Pelagic Advisory Committee, he holds hope for a future where fishery management is based on science and common sense. He is eager to work with the Shark Tagger team to develop safe and efficient shark deterrent methods that mitigate losses to predation.
